A Fun Obstacle Course For Adolescent

The quality education playground has profound social factors. The History of Indoor Climbing Wall

The indoor climbing wall industry has exploded in the past 20 years, and new gyms are open every day. The youth competitive climbing teams are becoming an interesting alternative to traditional children’s group sports. Indoor climbing wall will become an official Olympic sport in 2020, which will only generate more demand for indoor climbing experience. Climbing gyms started as a way for outdoor climbers to train during off-seasons.

Many people believe that Don Robinson was the first to build an indoor climbing structure, but this is a myth. The first indoor climbing wall was created at The Ullswater School in Penrith, England in 1960. Their climbing wall was constructed in the school’s new gym and used bricks and stone for hand and foot holds. This structure even had a top-rope bar.

Don Robinson created his iconic wall at the Leeds University in 1964. He had witnessed experienced climbers injuring themselves due to lack of training during the off-seasons, and decided to try to make a training tool to prevent this. He used glued-on rocks and stones on an existing brick wall to simulate movements that climbers would make outside. 

In 1987, the climbing gym fad reached the U.S. In Seattle, an old factory was renovated and opened as the first American climbing gym, Vertical World, and is still operating today. Technology is starting to change the indoor climbing wall world.

Playground Tube Hill & Ropes Course JP built for Canadian Customer

Ropes Course Playland Start Construction

After careful production and shipment, the ropes course playland for Canadian customer started on May 7, 2018.

When engineers from JP Development arrived at the project site, the first thing they did is to arrange the unloading. With the help of working equipment, they did the work well. Then JP’s engineers checked all the equipment delivered from JP’s factory and made sure everything was undamaged during the shipment.

On the second day, all the workers began to assembly the multifunctional ropes course, based on instructions from JP’s engineers. And by now, everything is going well. Apart from the large ropes course playland, there will be a large Tubing Hill in this indoor recreational center, which is also designed and produced by JP Development. The whole project is supposed to be finished soon, and we’re looking forward to the panoramic view of it.

New Playground for New Semester

After hard work in full swing including production and installation, the new playground JP Development built for Beijing Haidian District No.3 Experimental Primary School finally finished construction and can be put into use for kids new spring semester 2018.

With colorful panels, the outdoor climbing wall is a main part of the whole playground. With right height and challenge level, this kind of bouldering wall provide a safe environment for kids to develop their physical strength, agility and strong will.

Rope Net Hill, which looks like a small steep hill, is a challenge program with moderate challenge level for kids. To Get to the peak point, participants should use both feet and hands to climb up on the soft rope net, how painstaking!

Apart from program above, to satisfying kids’ naive nature, there’re also several equipment which are more interesting and attractive for kids, for example, seesaw, swing, tire swing, etc.
